Al, > There is no ambiguity for me pal...I struggle greatly with violence...i need a pretty definitive test even for self defensive violence. You seem to have no problem with it...you have defended questionable pre-emption vigorously...my standards are far higher than yours.

... says the ivory-tower "intellectual" with a high sense of arrogance and denial.

Got a wife, Al? Imagine she was kidnapped and forced into prostitution by an imperial power. Imagine you were forced to stop speaking your native language and learn that of the imperialists. Same thing with your kids. Imagine your friends being kidnapped and beheaded by soldiers just for sport. And imagine this is all sanctioned by the imperial power for the glory of its leader.

Does that pass your "pretty definitive test even for self defensive violence"?

Or are you just going to cover your ears, shout "Blah blah blah," and retreat to your anti-Iraq position like you usually do? Because all you want to do is compare yourself to some bloodthirsty version of me.

And for what? To prove you're more "Christian" than I am? If your version of "Christianity" is that of "holier than thou" hypocrites who constantly judges others, then yes, you are definitely more "Christian" than I am.
