Yeah but Columbine survivors say the real connection is lack of 'niceness' (that's my word, I think they said compassion but that's such a hokey word IMO) and kindness in the world. It looks like everyone at the school was asleep at the wheel...for years on this one. They treated the guy as a dangerous person instead of as a person who had lost all of his grounding in the world and needed to be reeled back into society. IMO this is typical of what the USA has become: everyone's a criminal and a suspect.
