That's probably a fairly healthy attitude that family had, wrt kindness. Rage isn't a healthy thing to carry around. That's very refreshing to hear about- thanks for telling me about it.

I think in the long run you can reach more people like this with kindness, than with punitive measures. You won't reach them all, but you'll reach more- and isn't that what we want to do? I respect a focus on the positive- it's in line with the way I think. I understand that some people can't or won't do that, and some people even think it's wrong to do it, but there's always disagreement on any issue.
