Thanks for the info. I'm almost glad the Q won't be out for a while. Another month of unenlightened bliss might not be bad. From what I've been able to find out about spreads - a big spread usually means there is not alot of stock being offered for trade - contrary to my original belief. As the spread tightens through out the day, that means that more stock is being offered, orders are being taken, and the spread narrows. Doesn't shed much light on WEBB, unfortunately. If the size of the bid lots are larger than the size of the ask lots than the price is likely to go up during the day. Seems that the pattern with WEBB has been that the spread narrows down closer to the bid during the day, so it is better for us retail suckers to buy towards the end of the day.
