It has certainly been an excellent live-fire training course for the USA military, and example to the likes of Libya, Syria, Iran, North Korea, China of just what the USA can do, and is likely to do. Change that to what we might possibly be able to do again at some future date. We could not do another Iraq right now, if we had to.
