Nokia's estimates that the WCDMA market in the 1st quarter was 33 million units. This is flat sequentially with their 33 million unit estimate for the 4th quarter (which they actually brought down from their initial 37 million unit estimate in January). They believe that they gained share in WCDMA during the 1st quarter.

They also reiterated that they have paid less than 3% on a gross basis for all WCDMA royalty payments (excluding royalty income and infrastrucutre royalties).
