No, but it would have eliminated GROUPS of students easily attacked en mass. Had he had to go into the Dorms, only a few to each suite and if they knew one could presume their doors would be locked. Thus it would take him some time to run up the kind of numbers he ran up in Classes allowing the police time to intercept him. jdn
