The NRA could change the law by supporting psychiatric red flag warnings in computers to stop the mentally imbalanced and dangerous from getting weapons. Only the NRA is stopping these kinds of laws from happening to keep society safer. The NRA must also cut the BS and supporting Brady Bill waiting periods and quit trying to get assault rifles un-banned.

What the NRA supports, a fully heavily armed population, is insane and will definitely cause more gun deaths. Because always you're going to have 5% of the people who should not be trusted with a weapon, even if they have no criminal record.

Even in the Wild West towns often made people leave their guns with the Sheriff, or not take them into bars. That's what I'm talking about. Common sense precautions. But in Florida at least any psycho can get a concealed weapons permit. That is insane.
