Wrong, the NRA is responsible. Everyone knows they have the power to allow common sense gun control laws happen if they just loosen their stranglehold on politicians. They literally threaten hundreds of politicians with hit and smear campaigns if they dare to interfere with the gun lobby.

The NRA has a history of being very intimidating and dangerous. But Virginia Tech may have finally rallied the public against them. I don't expect the NRA to change their evil ways, so they may have to be forced. Public outcry and opinion is the best way, and for Republicans to startf saying "no" to them too instead of kissing their butts. The NRA is a very corrupt force in our society. We will all be better off if they are neutralized.
