i don't believe in conspiracy theories. what I meant by my remark is that its a PURE trading vehicle. its not even looked at as a stock really. its a source of ALPHA either long or short. simply look at the trading volume vs share outstanding. there are no long term holders here. that's why you don't see calls for management's head or firing the BOD. you don't see activist hedge funds rattling cages calling for Hector's ouster. the reason is that amd is a lost cause for long term shareholders. its proven over 25 years that it can't create ANY shareholder value. It is in existence for enthusiast rig builders, for its employees who do very well with salary and bonus and option volatility, and as a second source for some OEMS.

It is a Plaything for hedge funds to create alpha with. No conspiracy. Its simply what it is. I look at fundamentals and believe there are NONE here. The reason this stock is up is that hedge funds looking for Alpha have embraced the turnaround thesis, even though they don't believe it. when the worm turns those seeking alpha will short this into the dirt.
