Liar. There is no proof Clinton was ever offered Bin Laden. In fact it never happened, just another rightwing lie that gets repeated over and over deliberately to cover up for Bush's weakness oin counter-terror.

As for wanting him, that started around 1996 when we finally knew he was responsible. But two things, he is the son of the Halliburton of Saudi Arabia, and he went into hiding in Afghanistan under the protection of the Taliban. I'm sure CLinton would have loved to have nabbed him esp by 1997, but by then it was too late.

Bush had Bin laden trapped at Tora Bora and let him go.

Bush was warned numerous times pre 9-11 and did nothing.

Bush did nothing to avenge the USS Cole even after clear evidence was delivered to him in Feb 2001 of Al Qaida responsibility.

Clinton has no such scandalous blemishes on his counter-terror record. He tried very hard to nail Al Qaida.
