Companhia Vale do Rio Doce (CVRD) is one of the biggest metal and mining companies of the world. Present in 14 Brazilian states and in five continents, it operates 9,000 kilometers of railways and 10 own port terminals.

The stock is expense relative to it's hard assets it owns at over 5x book but does generate sufficient income to project a forward PE of 8.75.
