And let's keep in mind that those higher up, such as Condoleezza Rice, who couldn't possibly imagine that a hijacker might walk through an open cockpit door and fly the plane into her office, were too busy to handle the information they were given about the plans to do just that. Or, they also lacked the judgment on what to take seriously.

Al Qaeda has a better imagination than the leaders of the USA, by the admission of the highest levels of the USA presidency. Al Q could imagine a multiple hijacking, the USA couldn't. Not the airlines, not the pilots, not the aircrew, not the CIA, not the FBI, not the aviation security people, not Norad, not the National Security Advisor, not the President, not the NSA, not anyone. Well, I could, but I wasn't about to tell that crowd of nutters what I was thinking. I like staying alive.

Now, after the horse has bolted, they think by taking my toothpaste, charging me money, threatening me, and wasting my time they make me safer. I think they might actually be insane.

The USA figures that spending money is what life's about. How much money Barack, Hillary and co have raised seems to be the main issue. As though the one who raises the most money wins.

I'd have thought the ideas they have matter more than how much money they have. Islamic Jihad operates on that principle it seems. Money is nice, but it's ideology which matters.
