That's why I almost always take them off the table before close...it's worth the nickel plus the vig to eliminate chance of assignment. When it's close.

Also, don't forget that while retail folks like us are closed out at market close, the inside guys (MM, etc.) can decide to exercise anytime through tomorrow night. So a disaster happens overnight or at noon tomorrow that will cause NTAP to swoon on Monday and even people that sold the 32.5's find they own stock on Monday and must eat the drop(pings).
