This is the first benchmark I have found for the MSM7500 based P4000 and it looks very good. The 6700 has a 416MHz Intel Xscale applications processor and is considered a fairly fast pocket PC handset (released last November). If the P4000 has a equivalent battery life to the 6700 it will have hit its trifecta of targets....equivalent performance with a smaller form factor and smaller battery. It should also be cheaper than the a separate applications processor/baseband.

Of course, I'd like to read more reviews (this is still only launched with Telus), but if these first reports are accurate, it looks like the MSM7500/7200 will have the chance to grab some real share from XScale/OMAP.
