When I was at a Virginia gun shop a couple of months ago, the guy behind the counter made it clear that all we had to do was show a drivers license and a VISA card and we could walk out the door with whatever we liked. Which means that any nut with a drivers license and a credit card can buy all the firepower they like in the Commonwealth here. There was no records check of any sort. Commonwealth - An ironic name, given what its laws produce.
