Please show me where I have suggested taking everyone's right to carry. Again, the leap is made from concern over allowing a large number of guns to a very young, untrained group, on a campus the size of Va Tech , to my stripping away all guns from everyone. Nowhere have I advocated prying your guns from your trained and capable hands.
The debate is a legitimate one, but when people don;t try to address the actual questions, but instead provide only emotional, defensive, insulting responses and make the argument about something it wasnt, there can be no debate. Really,lack of a Y chromosome? I feel like I walked into a roomful of Jack Nicholsons.
As for trolling, oh please. I have posted here seldom but quite regularly, and Lindy was actually the one who started this at Center, and then misrepresented that discussion here which is why I came. Because I am fairly comfortable on this thread, I went ahead and posted to him here. Obviously it was a mistake.
Lindy should be alarmed when a mild poster like me can cause such anger and defensiveness. It is not a healthy sign for a thread. |
