My only question now is: how stupid are the Israelis? They should let Assad know that if he starts a war they will dictate the peace agreement to him in Damascus. And it will include complete disarmament. Anything less now is foolish.

Israelis never get to dictate terms, even after 1967, when they crushingly won a defensive war. Other countries could have dictated a peace, but rules are different for Israel.

What they should make clear to Assad is that whoever rules Syria, by the time they're done, it won't be him.
