It gets so frustrating to see that the liberals are still defending Saddam Hussein. The man was convicted of war crimes by his own people and killed. The US helped remove his facist regime from power, now all the Sunni terrorists keep attacking the new Shiite government and killing Iraqi security forces.

I have 2 questions -

Why do Muslim moderates excuse Muslim extremists for killing innocent people and taking the law into their own hands?

Why do Liberals fail to recognize the gross violation of human rights in Iraq and criticize our support?

Meanwhile, the liberals want us to go into Africa and clean up the problems in Somalia or Sudan. I fail to see anything different about Iraq. We are trying to contain one of the world's biggest human rights disasters in Iraq. We need to stay there as long as the Iraqis request our assistance. The same is being requested by the liberals for US support in other AFrican nations.

The only people that want us out of this war are the Iraqi terrorists and the Democrats. Both are looking to gain political power at any cost. Every dollar that we spend defending the integrity of Iraq is essential. I hope the rejection of our purpose to protect the people of Iraq is worth the next election.
