Unfortunately, there are a lot of myths that people believe. And they aren't restricted to one particular area.

For example, a lot of people still believe that Al Gore claimed to have invented the Internet. He didn't. A lot of people probably still believe that Saddam had something to do with 9/11. He didn't. And so on.
