When I was a teenager, I hitch hiked all over Europe so didn't have much in the way of funds.

In Rome I went to a communist rally just as they gave away free food, and it was good food too. There was a tent full of communist books for sale, and I gave some a cursory read of a few paragraphs.

I doubt you could get anyone to read a proper communist book even if you paid them. They are that dull and very incomprehensible.

At school we were given George Orwell to read. His books were very readable, and steered most all young impressionable minds away from communism.

/edit.... but no, I forgot to check how many books on communism were available for lending.

If there are some, should I check whos taken them out?
