Edwards would be a heck of a lot better than anyone on the GOP side except maybe Hagel, whom the GOP base refuses to support because he dared to tell the truth about Iraq.

Edwards is a true populist, and a self-made man. He didn't inherit anything. He made it himself. The last guy who did that was Clinton and boy was he a terrific president.

If Gore doesn't run, I will support Edwards-Obama as a team and they can win.
