Went over to the Tivioli and walked up to a table where four young ladies were seated. Struck up a conversation, and after chatting with them and explaining my situation, I got up and said I was taking a walk, and wondered if any of them would like to come along. One did. She didn't teach me how to drink aquivat with my breakfast fish. But I had a wonderful week.

Oh my, I luv Tivoli too.

Then a fine young local took me to a second Tivoli called Baaken (I think I spelled that right). About a 1/2 hour train ride away. We got off the train, hopped in a horse drawn buggy and rode over to the park. I preferred the outdoorsy and not quite so manicured look and feeling. The folks there were much more casual. You could eat and drink outdoors in natural and rustic settings (my favorite style). It was not so citified and friendly as heck.
