The 2nde Amendment does not mean there can be no common sense gun ownership regulations. The 2nd Amendment is from 1780 when "arms" were muskets used for hunting and to ward off foreign invaders. The National Guard has taken the place of militias and modernday weapons are far too powerful and deadly to be used for hunting or even realistic self defense.
