While I disagree on ATMS being a c&h. there are very few real cup and handles. you can expect a 62% rise from the breakout of the handle above the previous high. Over the years or maybe this Bull has caused most even O'neil or his staff to call C&H like the novice calls other formations at each street corner.

I try to stay away from patterns, they are often in the eyes of the beholder. Indicators usually will call entry and exit and they can be scanned for in charting software. they can be system tested to determine how well they call moves. they are more objective.
