In order for us to deal honestly with the Arabs, we would have to have an attack here tied to them at the Nuclear level. And even then, it would be tough. Short of taking over the oil fields, I don't see any way out.


In order for the US to deal honestly with the Arabs, the US needs to make peace with Cuba, and get in on the Cuban Oil, or drill off florida to see what is there. The US can also require US Automakers to get on the ball and give them 3 years to come up with smaller fuel friendly. There is no reason why Canada and other friendly countries cannot supply all the oil a more conservative US might need. But first the US itself has to decide that something has to be done. It is time to tell Iran and others to let go of the US testicles.
