"A Mac gets whacked, a second survives"

Winston -

The Macs got "whacked" on the second day of the hacking contest, after the bar was lowered. On the first day, hackers on the same network had to break into the Mac remotely. For the second day, they were allowed to do as this guy did, setting up their own web server, then getting on the trarget Mac's keyboard and interacting with their special web site.

I think it's interesting that with all those hackers present, nobody was able to compromise the second machine.
