The thinking behind the Senior Drug bill is that expensive as they are drugs are far cheaper then operations and hospital stays. President Bush and the supporters of the drug bill are hoping that if Seniors get the proper medication ultimately the costs to medicare will fall. I certainly am in no position to know if that theory is correct or not but I do know that those Seniors that are on several different drugs have a heavy burden and needed some help. Personally, I am a big believer in alternative medicine and take a number of vitamins, minerals and other supplements (all of which I pay for directly not covered by insurance) daily. My wife does also. People tell me we both look much younger then our age. For instance, my wife turned 54 on April 17th. I took her out to dinner and asked the waitress to guess her age, she guessed 35!! jdn
