What business do the damn recruiters have calling your house? Is it a convenience that they can bypass the National Do-Not-Call solicitor list?! I hope your children are not gullible enough to believe their B.S. I served my country as an infantryman in the U.S. Army, and I knew at that time I might be called to defend my country. There were no illusions in my mind what that meant, and that it could someday cost my life. Those days seemed different, when their was an actual communist threat that might effect the stability of our country, and being a soldier was important, necessary work. Now they are just pawns for business interests. If I had any children, I would NEVER let them join the military while such crap is happening. As for recruiters, I always felt that they are a bunch of lying p*ssies. I still remember the crap they tried to get me to believe...I'm surprised that they can't be charged with fraud with the outright lies they tell.
