If there was a NA EU, the world would lose the US as driver of the world prosperity we now see. US would become mre socialized and we would be back watching Jimmy Carter in a sweater telling us all about what we would have to give up in the new world order. Crash for Asia big time. IF the US is to remain the driving force, we have to put up with some of our eccentricities.
