Yes thank you Rose, and Wednesday is so far looking good. It started with a nice dream, seeing QCOM up $1 meaning I wonder if some good news is on the way, and it's now 4.54am and I'm awake, briefly. [Actually, for all I know, it started with a nasty dream, but all I remember of dreaming so far is nice one]

Tuesday was minding Hayes, after a few rants and reading. We had, as usual, lots of fun. Dropped his Dad off at work, [Benediction, which you can find in zenbu.co.nz which is coming along nicely, as is zenbu.net.nz ]. We didn't have time to check the hole in the puriri tree [where his bottle fell down several months ago, stop to see Winn's Store, or go up Mount Eden because playgroup starts at 9.30am

We went to playgroup a few minutes early, which is a church hall and playground full of hundreds of toys and about 40 children, 30 mothers, half a dozen supervisors and a grandfather. Hayes and I like playgroup. We were first there, as sometimes happens as we are pretty on the ball with things.

Then we drove to Gofer's house while he ate a banana and had a drink of water. There we rode the motor scooter around and around the house, down the driveway, left or right up the footpath and grass verge. Stopping to watch various things such as the little tractor lawn mower racing around mowing the grass verge and the man trying to get him to mow the lawn just up the road, but failing - bossy old geezer, good job. Also the lady walking along the path smiling at us.

We got feijoas off the ground and took them over to the bird cage and Hayes sat in that while he ate feijoas and chucked the empties through the 'trapdoor' in the floor. Back on the motor scooter and up and down and around and figure eights some more. No crash helmets of course. He sits in front of me and he can just reach the handlebars so holds on properly now; beeps horn. starts engine etc.

Then park it in the garage and check how hot the exhaust pipe is. Get water and sprinkle some on to make it sizzle.

Then do some woodwork with the vice and various tools while standing on the chair. Rasping, drilling, screw-drivering, hammering and long-nosed pliers nail pulling and whatnot.

Oh, first we had some King Oscar sardines out on the patio, sitting on the arm of the chairs at the table under the umbrella. We forgot to sit him in the tree on the patio and chuck leaves down.

By then it was time for a sleep because he was tired. So I put a dry nappy on him, [he didn't want to go to the toilet before going to bed] and we snuggled in bed with me playing the tunes on my cellphone and him eating a banana and I stroked his head and face a bit and he smiled and shut his eyes while he ate some banana ...

I don't know what he did then, but I took the banana out of his hand and put it by the phone. Then I picked up my notebook computer and wrote a couple of rants but the clicking must annoy him because he moved around so I stopped. Mummy phoned and said she'd walk to our place at 3pm and maybe we wanted to meet her on the way - she said he must be asleep because I whispered so she told me what she was doing and I whispered okay. Allah and Kathryn had been walking and came home but their talking for a minute didn't wake him

Then he decided to wake up and to cut a long story short, we drove to Benediction, failing to find Mummy and there she was still working. Hugs. Then we had a fluffy, two marshmallows and a coffee and went and played in the lift. Looked over the city and the guys sitting down on the street at Benediction.

Went home. Went around the block on the little plastic truck while Catio the belligerent tough cat from down the road came too, while Mummy cooked some dinner. Put Hayes in the bean bag and dropped him off the table onto the floor. Wrestled on the floor. Ate dinner. Raced around some more. Daddy was still at golf, even though it was dark. Gofer went home and read the newspaper and watched silly tv stuff and read the computer and ate some dinner and stuff ... zizzo

It was another good day.

It was sunny and warm too. Pretty good for end of April.

PS: I didn't have concealed carry. I didn't even think of it until just then when I clicked from here to read some stuff before more zizzo. Somebody could have just walked up to us and shot us. If they were quick as I'd be moving fairly rapidly.
