NA similar to EU : NAFTA is the equivalent we have now.

- UK inside EU has diff currency. Canada, US, Mexico have diff currency.
- Travel : In EU a govt issued ID is sufficient for citizens of EU countries. In NAFTA until recently a driver license was sufficient. Now if you fly, a Passport is reqd. Cost of a passport is probably $85 valid for 10 years - chump change.
- The EU is having internal issues of whether to have a EU constitution. aint gonna be resolved soon. In NAFTA this just wont happen.

All of the above are the current status, and I dont see the US/world economy sufferiing as a result.
