If its worth going to war for it has to be worth going all the way. But I'm not sure "all the way" means we use nukes. It really depends on how many people you're going to allow to live. 10 people aren't going to be making nukes anytime soon.

This is a fundamental issue for me. We have not won a war since WWII. I believe the reason for that is, with some exceptions, we haven't horrified a population. Ya think people in Japan we scared? Ya think people in Berlin were scared? I think they were. We were willing to reduce a place to rubble in an effort to win. Now we have "surgical" and "Precision bombing." I don't think it works. In the case of Iran is wont work for sure. Those people have the notion that we can no longer dig in as a nation and substantiate of threat. Just a generally carpet bombing of a city (no nukes) may drive home the point. If it didn't remove another city the next day. By day 4 or 5 they'd realize we mean business. It may sound ruthless but in the long run it may save lives
