09:08 EDT XMSR PCSTEL: XM Satellite Radio-XMSR expect Q1 subs of 220,000, well below consensus-
PCSTEL expects Q1 subs of 220k, BELOW the consensus of 290c and to end the year with 8.5 million subs, BELOW the current guidance of 9.0-9.2 million subs. PCSTEL continues to believe the potential merger with Sirius (SIRI) has zero chance of a regulatory approval.

Meanwhile, over at the FCC. The Timeclock remains unstarted with no pleading cycle announced almost 2 months after the merger was announced.

No one in any hurry over at the FCC.

In the mean time.. As more and more Promo Subscribers are added to the roles. Losses will climb as the ARPU for promotional subscribers comes now where close to the average expense per subscriber. Likewise, as the retail subscribers fade. Activation Revenue will go down, and the retail product line will continue to stale due to the lack of new model introductions.
