Liar. AL Qaida didn't even exist until 1995, and it wasn't known as a guilty terrorist group by the US until 1996. It was actually more like 1997 until the FBI knew for sure Bin laden was responsible for the embassy bombings.

Immediately upon getting that evidence, Clinton went on the attack and launched 150 Cruise Missiles at Al Qaida training sites and other hide-outs and assets. At the time some on the rightwing mocked Clinton for trying to "change the subject from Monica Lewinsky" by going after Bin Laden. The GOP was split on supporting both these bombing attacks and those on Saddam's suspected weapons sites.

Clinbton then set up a 24/7 Al Qaida only office in the White House which reported to Sandy Berger and they STOPPED the 1999 LAX bombing attempt. Since I live 15 miles from LAX I am eternally grateful, but sgrangely rightwingers give Clinton and Berger no credit for that. Why not I wonder?

The USS Cole attack was not known to be Al Qaida until February 2001 on Bush's watch. Bush did nothing about it, disbanded Cliknton';s Al Qaida desk and then went on to ignore several major alarming warnings before 9-11. Bush and his people mliterally did nothing. Nothing. They let it happen.
