Their problem is very similar to social securities problem in that there are way the hell more retiree's then there are people funding the system. Until they tear up their union contracts and renegotiate with the retiree's they don't stand a chance. I read a stat somewhere that GM insures more people then there are in the state of PA. And their work rules are incredible. The unions will destroy the big 3.

When the outfit that bought Delphi threw out the contract and started paying folks what they are worth the screaming was incredible. But if some HS drop out driving a forklift who was making 175K a year and now gets knocked back to the 20 dollars an hour that is still too much for what he is doing thinks I'm going to feel sorry for him he has another thought coming
