Well, I do not think I ever said that they were not.

What I believe is that Iran is no worse than our CIA and if we want to make accounting of who did what to whom, I think the Iranians have a better case of bitterness and revenge for what we have done to them.

Furthermore, Iran, not unlike the U.S. would be out protecting their interests (as we did when the Soviet Union shipped missiles to Castro in the 1960s).
