Dear Joe: Most of the bad core QCs might be sold as TCs (Tri Core) at a slight premium to DCs with 2MB L3. Would you pay $10 more for an extra core at the same frequency? It would be a niche Intel could not compete in until 2008 with their quad core single die. Pete
