I see the show tonight is two hours long. That means at least one and one half hours of begging. So I will Tivo it and skip though. It really makes me angry to watch these kind of shows. They show us the "starving kids in Africa" and I realize that they are the grandchildren of the "starving kids in Africa" from 40 years ago. 40 years, and over one trillion dollars of Government aid and private charity later and where are we? The money has been spent on waste, fraud, Swiss bank accounts for the rulers and Range Rovers and expenses for the NGO people. The Africans are not any better off today than their grandparents were. While Bono and his crowd spend their time getting "compassion" kicks and feeling good about it. Yech. We just keep "rinsing and repeating." The same mistakes over and over.
