I say that with a caveat because thde Iraqi gov can't get ita act together and is in constant turmoil. They do not speak with one voice at all.

The only ones who want us there are those profiting from the war, in other words the Cheney type neocons, their cronies and dittoheads back home (like you, numbskull). I think just about everyone else on the planet wants us out of there.

Maliki himself has stated he wants deadlines and timelines. But Maliki is not the real leader. He is mostly our puppet and is not respected by very much of the country. Someone like El Sadr is more powerful than Maliki, and that is very bad news. El Sadr has stated very firmly he wants us out-out-out and gone.

The real root of all evil is the oil money. Bushies covet it, but the Chias have to give up some of it to the Sunnis to make any sort of peace. Kerry warned us all about this from the beginning. You cann't successful nation-build if you're not going to fairly share the resources. And if we the invaders hog most of the oil for ourselves (oil companies not the American people who get nothing but debt from this) we give up all moral authority. e are just seen as pirates and thieves, just as Bin laden told them all we were. So Bush's debacle has played right into Bin laden's hands. Hence all the new terrorists.
