Don't lie about FDR. He brought our country out of the Great Depression which was caused by the rightwing financial elite who gamed Wall Street and drove it up and up and up until someone finally realized it was all a house of cards. Then it came tumbling down, victimizing tens of millions of average Americans.

As a result, these average Americans, the majority of the country, were driven into poverty and desperation. Many died of malnutrition or exposure. What FDR did was to force big business to cede authoruity and let the federal government reorganize the economy. It was a huge-huge win-win success and created the American Middleclass which the rightwing has been busy trying to destroy for the past 25 years. It also helped boost capitalism as never before because it eliminated the top 1% most greedy and shared the blessings.

One of the biggest lies Bush ever tells is comparing himself to FDR. In truth, FDR would hate GW Bush and call him what he is, a totally corrupt frontman for the most elite and greedy corporate masters who don't give a damn about any of us. The stock market may be doing well now, but our middleclass is in serious trouble. Only the top 1-2% have benefitted under Bush, the ones who own most of the stock.
