While we sit at home & worry about watching the Civil War in Iraq on our large screen plasma TVs borrowed for "0% interest until 2011."

Does anyone but me think the US$ & DJIA are being obscenely arbitraged against each other to prevent our own US civil war?

The DJIA was near 12K when the dollar was worth 1.20 against the Euro

Now the dollar has lost nearly 40% to the Euro and we're a monstrous 1k over the old DJIA high of 8 years ago.

As of now, with all of the cheerleading on WS & CNBC about 13k, shouldn't the DOW be surpassing 20K by now? <wink>

...Can you say diversion?
