Your experiences do not disprove stats.

Of course not. That was not the point. I believe someone wrote and said it was almost a universal experience among Windows users. I wrote back and related my experiences, with a Windows PC at work and a Mac at home.

Of course, you referred to stats without posting any or linking to any stats about the reliability or need to reboot for Windows XP.

I was delighted when my old Bondi Blue Rev. B iMac got to System 9. With enough RAM (384 meg is what I upgraded it to), it was the first real stable OS I had experienced with a Mac. System 7.xx was a bad as Windows 95, in my experience :-).

I am even more delighted with my 20 inch iMac and OS 10.4.9
