Interesting news on Xoma being added to the list. More interesting is that I had lunch today with a good friend whose husband has just been offered a job with Xoma. He is currently associated with one of the nation's top research facilities, but wants to get back to his field of expertise. They are flying out to CA this weekend to look for housing....I warned them to make sure the pay scale is high...high....high...as CA real estate is no bargain. With XOMA wanting to add those of his caliber to the team..they apparently think they are finally on to something. Sure has been a slog holding their shares in recent years.
