I don't think I need to drive more than 25 miles a day. Weekends, however, are a different story. I can easily add up like 100 miles on a Saturday or a Sunday. I just like going out, and here in Southern California, everything is spread out. If I were living in New York City, I could take mass transit everywhere and that would be more convenient than driving. But NYC is highly urbanized and very crowded, so mass transit makes sense.
