That must be pre-split, 'cos if you're talking post-split, it's been a lot, lot lower than that. I also remember the gut-wrenching horrific day in Sept. 2000 that the stock dropped nearly 50%. One day it was humming along in the 50s (pre-split, of course) and the next day, boom! in the 20s. Then there was the press. In any given article about AAPL those days, you were sure to find the phrase "beleaguered company". Those analysts just couldn't resist it. Ahh.. those were the days ;-)
