I was just writing that thought to MD. We have a strange tendency to extend legitimacy into other areas to people who are successful in one area, even if it's completely unrelated.

And, oddly, the people themselves begin to believe it.

A good friend of mine is an ER doc, very bright. I listen to him about matters of health, but when we talk politics, the gloves are off. He's very liberal, and until Bush, I was conservative. Being a doctor gives him no particular political edge unless it's in matters of health care.

As far as I can tell, Sheryl is doing no harm in advocating toilet paper economy.
Unless it's in causing a plethora of some really bad toilet jokes to go the rounds.
