Well... Lady and Gentlemen,

Having posted a few judicious GTCs to my broker's delight... and having nothing much better to do in the midst of a thunder storm of historically Biblical proportions... I dared make another visit to the home of the famous YaHoo Hoos.

Imagine my surprise when I chanced upon a poster who asserts that the Dallas-Maxim arrangements involved them actually purchasing chips from Ramtron like a common customer, albeit for resale under their own label or in their own IC's.

I confess that this possibility never crossed my mind. Indeed the only comment I recall from the cc was to the effect that Ramtron was "supplying" said chips to D-M. While I suppose they may in fact be selling the chips on some sort of consignment basis, I can't possibly imagine why D-M would agree to pay Ramtron for the "privilege."

The only questions I have, concern the cost of this "distribution" chain and how much it is effecting those dipsy margins, what kind volumes are they "carrying," if any, and whether their "supply" is included in RMTR's inventory numbers.

It certainly has to be considered a sweet deal as far as the marketing and distribution of more FRAM is concerned, but without a tad more detail, which is apparently not forthcoming, it could also be an accounting scam from the nether regions of RICOdom for all I know.

In any case, I see by today's frozen price range that some one with more resources, and much better trading tricks than those up my sleeves, doesn't want the stock to fall... yet. Too bad management's consultant couldn't sell them on an new plan to suck up the rewards after the delivery. No doubt I, and thousands of other ignoranti, would have been happily chasing the price all the way to $7 after such an deliciously vague CC... but for the ill-timed and ill-conceived takings of the bastards in the board room.

Oh well... c'est la guerre. I leave you with one question: How can all these AMR programs and automotive apps be ramping up and yet produce no more than the 1.5 million pop to product revenue year over year we saw yesterday?

That's less than the single ENEL program produced when it started ramping at the end of 2001 - early 2002. Yet the 5 top meter suppliers in China, the two programs in California, Florida Light & Power, and lord knows where else can't do more than $1.5 million?

Well, may all your GTC's be on the sell side... just make sure you don't give away anything because either somebody is lying through their stinkin' teeth... or there is a lot more under the China cabinet than has been seen in the light of a dimly lit CC that somebody out there is sitting on...

Probably for proprietary competitive reasons... Yeah right... Thank you P.T. Barnum. <Hoo><ack><Phtooie>^2
