4/27/07 Update
Yet another positive week for the Nasdaq Biotech Index and the Contest portfolios. At Friday's close, the NBI was up 6.91% YTD (vs. up 4.76%% YTD a week ago) while the median for the 31 portfolios inched up to a 9.44% YTD gain (vs. up 9.06% YTD a week ago). Currently, 23 of the 31 Contest portfolios remain in the black with 16 of the 31 beating the NBI.
As DNDN faltered, the pack leadership shifted. FRED's portfolio has now taken over first place with a 29.1% YTD gain. But he's got a number of challengers nipping at his heels, including three up more than 27% YTD.
Have a fun weekend folks!
