In the past you have obliged me by replying to my ramblings about Catface. I'm grateful. To bring the subject up-to-date, I quote from the Doublestar MD&A just posted on Sedar.

"...the hereditary chiefs of Ahousaht advised that they were opposed......Since this time Doublestar has been active with Ahousaht in an effort to resolve the issue. This consultation activity culminated on November 22, when, at the request of the Ahousaht Council, Doublestar made a presentation in Ahousaht to the Band Membership during their AGM on the proposed diamond drilling program, and it was apparent that there was considerable support for the project. Consequent on this support for the Catface project at the grass roots level of the Ahousaht membership, discussions between the Company and the the Ahousaht band council and the elected chief resumed. These discussions are active and ongoing toward arriving at an agreed Exploration Protocol Agreement"

I would, of course appreciate your views. This seems far from a dead issue. Perhaps russet would also comment on a comparison between this dispute and the problems of Corriente and Ascendant in Equador. (I see DSR's problems as comparatively minor).

P.S. There is other good stuff in that MD&A ! It's worth reading!.
